We provide light refreshments if the session is taking place during a meal time, such as our lunch and evening workshops and programmes.
Yes, to ensure we have adequate food and childcare if they are offered during the sessions.
Typically no, as you will need to first become a client of the department to access our services, which requires an Intake. Our Family Skills Sessions, held once per month, is open to the public, not requiring an Intake, but we still ask that you register to ensure we have adequate food and childcare if they are offered during the session.
An Intake is an appointment at FRC where you meet with the Intake Officer and complete the required paperwork to become a client. Once you are a client, you can access the services and programmes offered or recommended by the Intake Officer based on your needs.
Monday-Friday, appointments can be made for the hours between 9:00am -11:00am or you can walk in without an appointment during the hours of 12:30pm - 4:00pm, and request to see the Intake Officer.
We are open Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm, excluding public holidays.
To accommodate our families, we do offer evening programmes and workshops and some services between 5:30pm- 7:30pm.
We are located on 77 Mary St. in the old Walkers Building on the 3rd Floor.
We have plenty of free parking in front of the Compass Building.
