Therapist (Community-based)

,Salary Range: CI$67,260 - $76,092 per annum. The Therapist (CB) will be required to offer trauma informed care and evidence based therapeutic practices in the community to families, couples, and individuals (including children, adolescents, adults and older adults) resident in the Cayman Islands, including Cayman Brac. The post holder also acts as a liaison between other systems of care including but not limited to Departments of Education Services, Community Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Children and Family Services, RCIPS and the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub; Drug Rehabilitation and Mental Health Courts, and CAYS Foundation. The post holder must possess: the minimum of a Master’s degree in a Social Science- Counselling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or the equivalent discipline; Evidence of (or eligibility for) licensure, certification or registration with regulatory body with specification to practice as a psychotherapist within the current jurisdiction of practice or training; 3-5 years of experience working as a specialised therapist with individuals, couples, groups, and families. Evidence of integrative counselling skills and knowledge of trauma informed care. Experience working with mandated clients and with co-occurring disorders is considered an asset .Excellent communication skills are required including the ability to develop proper case documentation.

Therapist (Residential)

,Salary Range: CI$67,260 - $76,092 per annum. CHRC is a residential treatment programme which serves adult males and females with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. The Post Holder will act as the primary therapist for their assigned clients, and offer evidenced based individualised treatment and group therapeutic services. The successful applicant should possess: the minimum of a Master’s degree in a Social Science, Counselling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or the equivalent discipline; Evidence of (or eligibility for) licensure, certification or registration with a regulatory body with specification to practice as a psychotherapist within the current jurisdiction; 3 - 5 years of clinical experience working as a specialised therapist with individuals, and groups in a therapeutic residential setting; Prior experience working with mandated clients and evidence of integrative counselling skills and knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment. Excellent communication skills are required including the ability to develop proper case note documentation.
